The Three Lakes

The lakes are beautifully landscaped, safe and well thought out, incorporating bays, controlled weed beds, rushes and islands. The swims are large, safe and comfortable for night fishing.

There are two well stocked specimen lakes containing many superb specimen carp, over 30lbs+, the larger of the two specimen lakes - Lake 2, also contains an abundance of catfish, some over 50lbs together with specimen carp. Both of these lakes have well kept natural grassy banks with lovely views of the surrounding countryside, a truly magical place to spend the day fishing. See the NEWS tab for swim availability.

Each specimen lake is limited to typically no more than four anglers.

Facilities include safe landscaped surroundings and a hard standing car park (plus the adjacent field during summer) for cars and vans but not lorries. The comfortable lakeside Cabin is equipped with a flush toilet, hot and cold running water, tables and chairs, microwave, kettle and toaster.

The Mixed Lake 3 is a "Pleasure" lake holding a wide variety of fish with masses of smaller carp (common and mirror), tench over 8lbs+, roach, rudd, bream, crucians and really good perch to 4lbs+ all in a natural environment including rich bank cover with some near and far side margin Canadian pondweed acting as an ideal oxygenator and natural living filter system.

This lake is ideal for beginners and experienced anglers alike, used to pole, whip and waggler fishing.

Anglers have had huge bags of fish in a prolific session resulting in Clubs booking matches.

Juniors are welcome but must be supervised.

Day tickets (arriving at 7am and leaving by 7pm) are available but strictly via pre booking as swims are limited to ensure plenty of space for each angler. For example each specimen lake is limited to typically no more than four anglers and the Mixed lake to 20 anglers.

Shower Facilities

We have often been asked if we plan to provide hot shower facilities for visiting anglers who participate in a longer fishing session. Take a look below and compare value and costs.

Shower facilities already exist in all our three Apartments and the example below, which is based upon four anglers fishing Lake 2 (Carp/Catfish) on an exclusive basis for 24 hours per 4 days, illustrates that shower facilities can be made available at no additional charge.

The accommodation charge includes:

A 33% fishing discount when booking 4 or more days
Night Fishing Membership for the duration of your stay though night fishing has an additional charge
Use of the visitors private garden and separate lake-side rod store-room
