Surplus Fishing Equipment

Some of you may remember Phil Platt a family member, who regularly came across from the Isle of Man to Manor Fisheries for several years to visit us but also to spend hours of enjoyment on Lake 3 (Mixed).

Phil has recently died and requested all his fishing equipment be donated to a charity for children who wish to enjoy fishing but are unable to have the funds and opportunity to enjoy the sport.

The Masonic Fishing Charity, who have previously provided two sessions at Manor Fisheries, achieves this by running fishing events, both coarse and fly and inviting participants with special needs to come and join in. This includes anyone over 11 with mental or physical disabilities, the disadvantaged or those who have suffered trauma.

Should you have any surplus fishing equipment that you would also like to donate to this charity please visit https://eastkentfreemasons.org/the-masonic-fishing-charity/ and contact Richard Dixey at rjdixey5329@gmail.com to donate.  We can assure you that all donations will be put fully to a great cause and assist in making unfortunate young children very happy.
