NEWS 1 January 2023 to 31 January 2023

Soon leaving Winter behind

Daylight at last is lengthening and following several wet and freezing nights, next month will see the beginning of Spring. This month is a suitable time to repair and replace any missing fishing tackle. It is now less than 6-weeks before we reopen for 2023

All reservations need sufficient time for payment (minimum 48-hours) noting the local weather forecast can be seen online HERE. We look forward very much to meeting Members both old and new.

Donating Surplus Tackle

You can donate your surplus tackle to a charity for children who wish to enjoy fishing but are unable to have the funds and opportunity to enjoy the sport.

The Masonic Fishing Charity, who have previously provided two sessions at Manor Fisheries, achieves this by running fishing events, both coarse and fly and inviting participants with special needs to come and join in. This includes anyone over eleven with mental or physical disabilities, the disadvantaged or those who have suffered trauma.

Should you have any surplus fishing equipment that you would like to donate to this charity please visit https://eastkentfreemasons.org/the-masonic-fishing-charity/ and contact Richard Dixey at rjdixey5329@gmail.com to donate.  We can assure you that all donations will be put fully to a great cause and assist in making unfortunate young children incredibly happy.
